The Onion once again rocks the house:
"37 Record-Store Clerks Feared Dead In Yo La Tengo Concert Disaster". It's funny, 'cos it's true.
Work has been pretty busy for me this week, thus the lack of updates 'round these parts. Plus, I'm gearing up to attend the
The Pop Studies Music Confrence at
The Experience Music Project in Seattle. Lotsa rock scribes will be there talking about the music biz and the music writing biz and the future of music and what not. Lotsa academic stuff, too. April 11-14. Hit me up with an
email if you're gonna be there-- maybe we can chat about Prince B-Sides or something.

I'd like to start off today by thanking everyone who came out to
The El Ray Del Art Mind Roastingly Supreme Art Party on Saturday night. I had fun playing the tunes, El Rey seemed to sell a lot of art and
The 66 Balmy gallery were fun and gracious hosts. Though I've been a DJ for eons, it was my debut as
MC Hesher. I've never had a wacky DJ name before, but I like MC Hesher a lot, even though technically it should be a rapper's name. Oh well.
